At the Haven, we’re always trying to find the “best” for our customers. In the world of 3D Printing Materials. The “Best” changes! For instance. It’s a well known fact that Companies like Peek, and MatterHacker boast “Quality”. What they’re essentially saying is their PLA is better than all others. And they throw a price tag on it to boot! So does their “Quality” Align with our customers Needs? Not likely at Prices like $40-$90 a kg. (spool). In the years, we’ve gone the other way too. We’ve ordered Large amounts at $6-$8/spool. Trust me when I say. Don’t Do That!
What is an Affiliate?
Now, let’s have a little chat about these here “affiliate programs.” You might’ve heard folks talkin’ about ’em, but maybe you ain’t quite sure what they’re all about. Well, gather ’round, and I’ll give you the lowdown, HoodBilly style.
An affiliate program is basically a way for folks like me to partner up with other businesses and help each other out. It ain’t about knowin’ each other personally or investin’ in each other’s companies. It’s more like bein’ good neighbors, lendin’ a helpin’ hand and sharin’ the good stuff.

- A Little Somethin’ Extra: Sometimes, I might even get a small “kickback” for my efforts. But don’t get too excited just yet. Most companies have a minimum payout, so I gotta sell a whole heap of stuff before I see any of that sweet cash.
So, there you have it, folks. Affiliate programs are a great way for small businesses like mine to support each other and bring you the best possible deals. It’s all about community, collaboration, and sharin’ the love.

Let’s answer the first one right away! I’ve tried several Amolen Filaments. I did purchase most of it from Amazon. It’s not just “Quality” filament, meaning it has the properties expected. But they have some of the best aesthetics on the planet! From their dual & triple color filaments, to they’re meter changing filaments, to the amazing “Glo” they produce. When Amolen says “Silk”, they mean “Shiny”. When they say “Sparkle”, it does! And when they say “Glo”, it “Lights Up”! So the last important Quality needed is “Printability”. Across the board, their filaments are consistent!
What took so long?
Now, you might be wonderin’ why it took a spell to get this partnership rollin’. Well, let me tell you, findin’ the right affiliate partner ain’t as easy as pie.
I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with companies that promised the moon and delivered a pile of cow pies. They’ll sweet-talk you with deals and discounts, but when your customers try to cash in, they find out the price is higher than a cat’s back in a room full of rockin’ chairs.
