That’s right, every customizable product is “redesigned” or made better. Until we can’t figure out how to do so. This being the 3rd dog dish I’ve designed. And with it being for a “non-related” customer. So far I’ve only printed dishes for myself and a family member.
So, when the customer gave me his demands, I got right to work. Lined up the filaments with Polymaker.

Whipped up the design. Sent out 2 emails, as I’m always a day late, and a buck short. But in the end, and before he left for work today. My customer had his Brand New & Improved design mockups in his email.
Luckily for me, first design was accepted, so the filament has been ordered.
In the mean time, I will be adding this version to the product Options, and or making it a product of it’s own as it does have some better design features.

What new “features” you might ask. Well the “tower” is now round and the “cord hole” is now oblong and gives the tower or top dish rotation ability. Thus allowing you to move the spout around the bowl some. I’ve brought the tower connection Above the rim of the bowl, rather than just even with it. Thus making it impossible to leak out both ends if you over fill it. I’ve also made the top bowl and bottom bowl in alignment, rather than the slant back the original design has.

P.S. Yes, eagle-eyed viewers, I noticed the orange letter in the mockup. Don’t worry, that won’t happen on the actual print! Just a little reminder that even the most meticulous designers make mistakes sometimes. 😉
